Stacy Ridgeway, (Jan 2, 1956) is an African-American artist best known for his “crashing out” murals. Larger than life, hand-painted works featuring images of Anthropomorphism; animals with human-like characteristics and other Greek mythological inspired art.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Stacy began drawing and painting as a child and attended New York’s Suny Purchase in the 1970s. Stacy’s connection with art began when he was 12 after visiting a family member in Mount Vernon, New York who could draw comic books. It wasn’t until middle school, an encounter with his Italian art teacher, that Stacy realized his passion for art was just beginning.

STACE's latest artistic contributions can be seen in Universal Pictures' "Dear Evan Hansen", a production on the motion picture adaptation of the Tony and Grammy-award winning Broadway musical. (Fall 2021) The opening of his first art gallery, "Three Twenty Gallery", (Spring 2021) in a newly renovated building that was once Las Animas Electric Company, circa 1903.
